Video game distributor Daedalic Entertainment have today announced that they have signed an agreement with Australian developer Dane Krams so that his point-and-click adventure game, Anna’s Quest, can be released and distributed worldwide.

Anna’s Quest is a point-and-click adventure game for the PC, whereby players take control of Anna as she uses her telekinetic powers to rescue her grandfarther and defeat the evil creatures of the land; as explained in the games synopsis:

In a land far, far away lives a brave young girl called Anna. She lives a peaceful life in the forest with her grandfather, until a mysterious illness befalls him. And so Anna ventures forth to find a cure for him, but this world is a much more dangerous and bizarre place than she’d thought: putting her journey to a sudden end, the witch Winfriede kidnaps Anna to use her for an experiment.

Winfriede’s experiment is a success – Anna develops telekinetic powers, but this is also where the witch’s schemes are foiled: with the help of Ted, a boy who has been turned into a teddy bear, and new powers she can barely control, Anna manages to escape from her cell.

Together with Ted and her new impressive ability Anna is off for an adventure in the haunting world of Grimm’s fairy-tales and European folklore. Witches, ghosts, trolls and cursed princesses: no matter if you have to save them or outsmart them – they all play their part in Anna’s quest to find a cure for her grandfather.

And since there’s no rest for the wicked, Winfriede breathes down Anna’s neck, eager to reclaim her successful experiment at any cost.

According to Dane Krams Anna’s Quest will combine traditional point-and-click adventure gameplay with unique comical twists to provide a highly entertaining and fully developing storyline that is sure to please all those who play it.

Anna’s Quest will be released exclusively onto the PC and Mac in Spring 2015 with more details to be confirmed as development on the game progresses.

Russian based development studio Auralab have today announced that their IndieGoGo Campaign for Karma, a point-and-click based adventure title filled with puzzles, is now active and ready for your support, as AuraLab CEO, Andrey Sharapov explains:

‘We have finished pre-production of Karma and have completed a huge percentage of development already, we’ve a lot of final conceptual art done and working prototype but we still have an incredible amount of work to do – animations, programming and testing. Being a small indie studio we would like to stay independent and as such we’re not funded by a publisher or investor, so we’re looking to crowdfunding to help support the development!’

As it stands AuraLab are looking to secure $35,000 in order for the game to be fully developed and released, meanwhile in the background the game is also looking for support on Steam Greenlight, whereby if successful the game would become available to purchase on Steam.

As with all ‘crowd-funding’ projects rewards will be given to those who support the project, for instance players who donate $7 will earn a digital copy of the game with higher reward tiers offering additional content, such as the $250 tier which includes a copy of the game along with T-Shirt, Artbook, Soundtrack, a Collectors Poster and various other digital related content.

Karma: Incarnation 1, or simply known as Karma, is a unique point-and-click adventure title with challenging puzzles whereby the characters apppearence and personality will change depending on the outcome of each completed task.

If Karma is successfully funded on IndieGoGo, and greenlight by the Steam community, then Auralab will finish development on the game and release it, but in the meantime you can visit the IndieGoGo Campaign which has recently started.

Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today Gets a Gameplay Trailer, Kickstarter Campaign to Begin in March

Dead Synchronicity_Tomorrow_Comes_Today

Fictiorama Studios, a small indie based development studio, have today released their narrated first gameplay video for their upcoming point and click adventure Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today.

The game, which according to Fictiorama Studios, is the first title of the Dead Synchronicity saga, is a 3rd person, 2D point & click adventure that features a Sci-Fi styled script and was heavily influenced by Classic LucasArts titles. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect from the games story.

The adventure tells the story of Michael, a man with no past who is forced to recover his identity and decode the events that brought the world to a near cataclysm: “the Great Wave” (a chain of natural disasters) and a pandemic that has turned humans into “the Dissolved” (infected beings with special cognitive powers whose sick bodies will ultimately dissolve). If Michael does not hurry, he won’t be able to avoid the impending point of “dead synchronicity” when Time itself dissolves…

Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today currently does not have a release date, however Fictiorama Studios will be starting a campaign on kickstarter in March which will help release and publish it onto Steam’s Greenlight. While full details of this campaign have yet to be disclosed its assumed that reward tiers will be offered that will unlock access to the game.

In the meantime why not check out the narrated gameplay video which shows off around five minutes worth of gameplay.
