European publisher Bandai Namco Games have today revealed some ‘crucial’ details surrounding the mysterious fighter in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse, the latest instalment into the Dragon Ball videogame franchise.
It turns out that this ‘mysterious fighter’ is infact YOU! basically upon starting the game players will be requried to create their own Dragon Ball character and then take part in various challenges with Trunks before being able to proceed into the Dragon Ball Z timeline. After which players will be able to embark on various missions and intervene in battles throughout the entire Dragon Ball Z storyline.
Exact gameplay details are still relatively scarce but what we do know is that the character creation tool will allow for all sorts of different combinations and outfits; for instance Earthling, Majin and Namekian outfits and skin styles will be available.
This isn’t the only exciting piece of news either; as DIMPS, developers of the game, will be hosting a closed beta session whereby players will be able to experience the game for themselves and provide feedback to the developers.
More details on this clsoed beta session, along with gameplay details of the game itself, will be revealed in the near future but in the meantime Dragon Ball: Xenoverse will be released onto the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 during 2015.
